About The Event

With over 600A at our disposal, including buildings, vehicles, ravines, ponds and moving water, attendees will be challenged to understand odor/scent movement and establish a search strategy to aid in acquisition of odor by their K9 partner. Designed to aid any detection K9 handler further their knowledge, this course is applicable to narcotics, explosives, disaster, HRD and wilderness search teams.

The three full days will include classroom topics such odor movement in buildings and in the wilderness, types of searching, and setting training scenarios to challenge your K9. Field work will include large and small area searches, on and off leash work, building and vehicle searches.

Cost includes three full days of instruction, field lunches and a t shirt.
